It' Ready!

My first meyer lemons are finally ripe and ready to use. Only had two but I think it's great for my first ones off my tree.

Ah cut and ready to juice, don't they look great ?!

Look at the richness of color of that juice. Nothing like homegrown. Sorry you can't taste it though, as good as it looks!

Together

Happy Anniversary to Me! Well to my husband and me, 35 years, wow. I'm really not old you know but that does sound like a lot. You understand it isn't always roses, but at this point we don't sweat the small stuff, we like each other and we still love each other. We don't play games with each others emotions, though anyone will tell you we are silly. So if you ask how we lasted this long... when it got bad I prayed.
You love, you try, you forgive. together you just live and hopefully together you love. Here's to you and yours,Cheers.

Christmas Tea Party for the Toys

A Christmas Story... You Are Invited

You're Invited! You're invited! If you want to come you have to follow the path.

Is that a note for me? Did that snowman put that invitation in there?

Where is he going? Do I want to go too? It said follow the path.

I'll follow the path and the snowman. They're going in the se direction.

Glad he's wearing a red scarf, I could lose him in this snow. Snowmen don't have a scent for a polar bear to smell. They smell just like the snow on the ground. Wait a minute, where did he go?!

What's that up ahead? Wow a snowman tea party! Cookies and tea and my friend Penguin!

Snow tea,my very favorite!

Merry Christmas Everyone and enjoy your holidays!

Reminder

Wedding

The Newell, Newton wedding was held on a beautiful Saturday. That's the newly wed couple greeting everyone after leaving the church. Then there's Jenn greeting my daughter LA. That's the wedding cake, no it wasn't on it's side but this photo sure is! The next photo is of me and my daughter.
And that's the bride, Jenn, and LA. They have been friends since they were ten and both our families were stationed in Hawaii.

There was joy at this wedding , not the out of duty, got to attend, but real joy,fun and glad to be family joy. A little girl was pushing a women in a wheelchair around on the dance floor as she danced in the chair. No one was left out, everyone was welcome and the bride made the time to visit with everyone who attended as if they were the only one that attended.
Lovely bride, lovely family, good friends always.

Joy in the new year

Some people go through their life waiting for it to begin and others sit
around waiting for the end of theirs as if somehow this amounts to the real business of actually living it. I don't wait around for the next birthday or regret the present one because I'm here. I go through my life with the joy of doing something that makes me happy, creating art pieces that you can hold and play with and just look at if you want.
Yes, we are going though difficult times and art is considered a luxury item. Some will find it beyond their reach for awhile, but this is in my heart to create and I can't give that up, you never volunteer to give up your joy.
Some will be lookers this year instead of buyers, but I hope they will get that same look of unmitable wonder and joy that I get when I look at someone's work that just speaks to me - glad to have had the opportunity to experience it.
