Spring Bear Show Timonium2010 review

It was a beautiful day on Saturday and people in Baltimore were happy to be able to be out and about! The show had good traffic and artists from all over,Sharon Barron, Barbara Burkr, Jackie Polette, Mary Dowd, Jacquelyn Melerski, Donna Nielsen among others.

Glad he's wearing a red scarf, I could lose him in this snow. Snowmen don't have a scent for a polar bear to smell. They smell just like the snow on the ground. Wait a minute, where did he go?!

Another Peek

Well, I leave for Atlanta Saturday for a visit with my daughter
and then on to her best friends wedding in Missouri.
I will try to get good photos to share. And I'll be checking to see what you guess and add another photo puzzle piece.

New in The Workroom

Well, here they are, some of what I've been working on. The pink elephant is Cymbella, and she wears a faded old pink dress and a cross grain ribbon tied neatly into a bow on her head. She is the only elephant ,so far, to have striped legs.
The male elephant hasn't been named yet but his outfit is flannel with the same cross grain ribbon trim and true to the regular elephants doesn't have striped legs. He is gray with tan undertones.

The Blue Bunny, is a special order from my daughter who after seeing the blue bear insisted on having a blue bunny, so here it is
dear. Hope you like it!

So it's back to the workroom for some other pieces that are asking why they aren't finished yet and how did the other ones get to be finished first. That's why I only work on three at a time and keep the others in my bag where they can't see everything!

Le Cirque Lion

Hope this photo shows the colour a little better. I think the lions are fun, not too fierce, but just right for a circus lion.



Don't know what's next in the line but we'll see. And remember these photos don't show accessories, ie neck decorations, hats, etc.

Lion in The Midst

These lions look like they are on the prowl! Just liked the look of them after their photo shoot, it seemed like they had found something interesting.


This is one of the lions standing, though this photo is showing darker than the lion actually is. This is one of the new Le Cirque lions. It is hand painted, and detailed .The fabric starts out in an off white colour before I get hold of it.

Just a small preview of Le Cirque bunnies that will be at the Teddies Spring show in Timonium,MD this Saturday. hope to see you there.It's at 9615 Dereco road.
I'm pretty much packed for the colder weather, and hopefully have all my hang tags and stickers.
This is a fun show with nice collectors who stay and visit awhile. So I am looking forward to having a good time.

Le Cirque(The Circus) Is In Town

The circus is in town, my new collection premieres at the Tropical Doll Club Study groups show tomorrow. And if you knew anything about the past week you know it's always in town at my house. There's something going on over here and wait what's happening over there?!
This is the little elephant that is so happy to say hello to you today. There are other animals, bears of course, and the rabbits are fun. There's a new lion but don't know if he will be finished on time:( but we'll see.


The bear is one of the clown bears whose clothing is part of the bears body. I forgot to note that the elephants don't have striped legs like the other animals. Come to the show if you can, and if you can't check back to see how it went.

Show Preview

This is the start of a new collection of bears, and other animals , Le Cirque, a French style group of circus influenced pieces. So don't turn your back or you might miss the one you want. They will be one of a kind pieces. All have striped bottom half of their legs. Kind of a signature for the collection.
So come to a show in March and see what new things have blown in. The elephant can't wait to see you, he really wants to turn around and take a peek:)
